I'm sidding with vig. I know personaly how low some gf will go. I have sympothy for the gf but in a time of a break up and with all the stress she is going through she might just do everything she can to piss him off. I mean he said why she hasn't recieved any money yet.

Am I the only one who automatically sides with VIG instead of mrs. vig?

[/ QUOTE ]
No, but there are only 2 or 3 of us.

I'm with you guys, women are crazy especially when relationships are ending. Plus his excuse that money is all locked up is at least plausible.

Note to BBV

STOP BEING IDIOTS!!!

WHY DO PEOPLE TRUST RANDOM PEOPLE FROM THEIR INTERNET POSTS?

ANYONE WHO THINKS ONLINE POKER IS DEAD NEEDS TO THINK. IF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE WINNING MONEY ARE THIS STUPID ONLINE POKER WILL ALWAYS BE PROFITABLE.

PLZ REMEMBER THIS POST NEXT TIME SOMEBODY GOES AROUND ASKING FOR MONEY. IDIOTS WILL STILL GIVE THEM MONEY DON'T BE ONE OF THEM.

80k hands this month.
~6-8k profit.

my emotional control is great. but hopefully I'll be able to play enough so that my rakeback pays like all my bills and I have to take $0 out of my roll.

it's like the passengers trying to retake the hijacked plane, just not nearly as heroic.

I don't know if this whole thing was a scam or not but I found it weird that after asking for donations Vig was playing in the big sunday donkament...

for being in a situation of needing money so bad should you really be buying into $215 tourneys?

[/ QUOTE ]

This has been covered, he is a pro poker player, do you suggest that he not play and instead have no income? Him playing 15/30 or $215 donkaments is not an issue, as long as the donation money is kept separate from his role, which may or may not be the case at this point.

[/ QUOTE ]

eh I guess I'm thinking more along the lines of tourneys with fields of 5000+ are pretty high variance and if you are really hurting for money probably are not the best choice to play.

what if he decided to buy into the WSOP...he is a pro poker player after all so he is just doing it for his job.
Hmm maybe he will say "lol donkaments" on espn during the WSOP for BBV since they paid for his seat...

obviously that is an extreme example but my point is he should be at least limiting variance and not playing what basically amounts to lotteries.
