I havent really kept up with the threads here, but has the racism issue involving the Portugal coach been discussed?

For no other reason than that, Im glad they lost.

Yeah it was the Spanish coach. He was caught by a television crew telling Jose Antonio Reyes that he was better than that "black [censored]" Henry. Replace [censored] with the s word.

They should have made him get on his knees and kiss Henry's arse after the France Spain game.

Overall, I think soccor is an interesting sport. Personally, I like hockey alot better for the following reasons:

It is faster.

There are no PK's for fouls inside the box.

There are more break aways. I saw at the end of France-Portugal that the player was called for penalty for entering the box before a French player was inside of there. This seems like another goofy rule.

There are less players on the ice. The game is faster.

There are power plays for penalites, which make more sense and are fun to watch.

Game is more physical.

More Scoring.

Yes, hockey is more fun to me too. Don't see what it has to do with this match though

Portugal deserved to win this game IMO

Portugal didn't deserve any of their elimination round wins. They can take their 21 yellow cards back home with them. I'm glad that a goal resulting from a foul was the end of them.

Fin dirty team.

Good to see France won. This WC will be the end of a great generation in football for France.

Olympian-standard diving by the Portugese. Postiga's was my personal favourite.

Glad they're out.
