nl is retarded

5 times all in today

once i had OESFD to TPTK (was a dog) and won

other 4 i was favorite and lost them all

wtf is this game it's so stupid

[/ QUOTE ]
agreed, except it sounds like u actually play decent...

i typically get it all in with tptk vs a floppeds str8, set, 2 pr etc

[/ QUOTE ]

by the way, is it considered bad etiquette in HU NL to bitch about how boring and lame NL is compared to limit, and go on long tirades about how the hell these guys can play it all day?

this does not apply to running horrible during 500/100 shots however

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, how does that game play? It must require a major change in strategy since there are like zero implied odds.

Yea, definitely bet 5th. Not sure about the %s on 6th, but it's close...

[/ QUOTE ]
5th would be a pure bluff pretty much right? basically cuz the other dude's boards are so ugly?

Yes. My pre-flop 3-bet says I have an A already or 234. If he can read hands he would know that the A isn't likely to help me, but 2 other A are already out so now it looks like I have the best draw, whereas they are both drawing to higher lows. I should have checked the river as played even though I have a lot of outs. I should have bet both streets though.

rest of the night was filled with people making retarded bluffs/vbets (they didn't know i'm sure) vs. my range. but of course i always had the exact hand where their bluff happened to be for value. super aggravating. basically the worst way to lose 34 bets.

It all comes down to them being able to see your cards imo.

Why not 3b the flop in hand 1? I hate hate hate when he checks it behind on the turn with a combo draw.
