I'd like to win $1 this month.

I haven't had a winning month in Stars cash games in 13 months.

Thats right I've lost 13 straight months at stars $1/2.

I'll probably lose this month as I'm already down 4 buyins.

It gets sicker and sicker.

For those that have played with me do you think I'm that bad to lose consistently for 13 straight months at the NL 200 game?

[/ QUOTE ]

post graph (srsly) I want to see if its gradual downslope or what .. I know its possible to run bad for awhile (speaking through personal experience and 250K hands) but 13 months and 600K hands is prob out of the question

13 straight losing months at 1/2!!!!!!

dude, you can't be serious.

wowowowowowowowowowow

unreal

fwiw, i dont think you play sooo bad that you would have 13 straight losing months. you might go on extended monkey-tilt or something, i dunno.

how do you still have a roll? are they just like -1k/breakeven type months?

I dont play stars, but just by your posts I think tilt is probably a big problem for you. Also, do you have a coach?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't tilt away money and no I don't have a coach...their rates are ridiculous and looking back over my hands all the huge pots I lose are like 2nd nuts vs nuts or I get 2 and 3 outered so I'm not paying $500/hour for someone that runs well to tell me to "run better".

Now that might come off as ridiculous to some people but I've had posters in the forum look over a lot of my hands and they tell me stuff like "standard, move on, cooler",etc.

I don't think paying someone $800/hour is going to turn me around when most of the hands I lose are because I get [censored].

What a coach could help me do is to get better at playing back against aggro regs but I can't afford a coach.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude - everyone gets coolered, sucked out on, ect. The thing that separates winners (and big winners especially) from everyone else is that the earn enough on the other hands to more than compensate for the inevitable losses. If you haven't won $ for 13 straight months, as many hands as you play, something is seriously wrong with your game.

If I were in this same spot and I wanted to continue playing (doubtful), I would definitely look into getting a coach. Clearly you are dead set against it. Thats fine. It is your money and your time. Playing internet poker without making $ is a waste of a life.

He might be break even with FPPs. He was going for SN elite and if his months are that bad (plus he had a solid tourney score) then he is probably still making some money.

Still that blows so hard.

So this day started not so well beside from losing a buyin a Stars i lost ~600$ taking a shot at 400NL.
Had position on some 50+/30+/3+ types and got pwned.
They put bets in all the time on drawy and low card bords and i had air everytime.

Moved back to 200NL at Full Tilt played 13 hours 5-8 tabling playing with the regulars, sitting with players who pwn mee to my left with a semitilted mindset.
I won 6$ back ending the day only 838$ behind.

8000 hands - going to post a few tomorrow.
