Tilting again because of two horrible hands..first is [censored] sick and [censored] I'm tired of. Second is a horrible fold by me I guess..He played it exactly like a set in a protected pot and see no reason why he would be calling with Axs flush draws there with the shortstack but w/e. Villain is TheMinion in second hand, decent 1/2 who had a couple leaks and overall thought he played well until this [censored] hand.

wow, these two hands are so weird to me. Why the overbet shove in hand 1? and in hand 2 you are getting about 3.5 - 1 I make the call. The pot really isnt that protected considering UTG is all in for 25 only, so if MP1 gets you to fold he makes a quick $50. Also, he could have a hand like JTs 78s etc.

I put him on a bluff and that's it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why are u trying to raise him off the pot if u think he is bluffing when u have 2 pair? It makes no sense.

And ofcourse leading turn is a good play with a straight
when there is a good chance u might have hit it big but are afraid and will check behind.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, you're right. I couldn't tell until today how poorly I was playing/thinking yesterday. He played the turn well.

Hand 1) Obviously the guy that called had a lower PP than me and I don't want him drawing. He calls with any lower PP with a draw and folds regardless if he doesn't have it. Other guy looks like AK/AQ and I obv. don't want him drawing either. I make them either make a bad call or they fold.

2) This is a 14/10 guy. He doesn't have anything in the range you said. I also discounted the AJs range, lol. He made a horrible call preflop and when he just calls both and pushes on a somewhat scary board with what looks like NO fold equity vs me it screams set. He made a horrible play preflop and on the flop, IMO, but I think I maybe should've called as well but the more I think about it the more I think I was right..

P.S. Misclick preflop, still make good call vs horrible player when I could've folded and he of course makes it.

prod, the overbet with the KKs on the 3d board is not so good, I think I just bet close to the pot there, the way you bet it it seems like you have the Ad alone, he will come along with his QQs anyway so just play it standard, maybe you get to save some money

and the KKs vs the minion well hmmm it is a tough one, I like your way of thinking but if you have been 3betting often and have a loose image you just simply have to call more often in these spots(the variance is gona suck)... on the other hand if it was vs me (nit) I had KKs I would lay it down more often in your spot because I know he knows I play tight....unless he makes plays at me and thats a different story

Am I looking to save money when I can get it all-in as a 60% favorite in these situations? (about 58-42 to be closer to exact)
