just lookin for a comparable cuz im very happy with my hourly at 50FR, and wondering why i shud move out of my free money pit

[/ QUOTE ]

like $60-70/hr, but with the FPP bonuses and milestone bonuses taken into consideration, it gets closer to $100/hr.

(this is running at ~2ptbb)

Also, nation:
are you still playing a similar style as you played earlier this year or trying somehting different?

[/ QUOTE ]

i'm playing pretty different i guess. i played a lot of 6 max earlier this year and it sort of leaked over to my fr game. at first i was too loose but very quickly after a few k hands i tightened up to acceptable levels and started using some 6m concepts. i'm still struggling a little postflop when it comes to giving up a little too easily when i don't have the betting lead. i don't think it's a huge problem though just because i don't think too many people 2 barrel at fr. i usually call flop bets from lp raisers if i have a pp.

i don't know if raising is optimal because i always figure out if my pair is good on the turn when they check behind, however i know a lot of people check overpairs behind to get another street of value from just that type of hand. i'm sort of struggling with that right now but overall my preflop game is a lot different and i fixed a lot of leaks in my postflop game when i have the betting lead.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's definitely a tough transitiion either way. I remember you being very solid and tough to extract value from. I'm sure playing a lot of 6-max helped your game a lot.

The situation you decribed is really read dependant... I mean, I check raise sets and overpairs all in on the turn all the time. It;s an easy way to abuse floaters. Works especially well if you feel the opponent will bet his draw and you can get him pot committed with 1 card to come.

Anyways, playing 1pair hands has a huge affect on your hourly, imo.

thnx.

ive been doin $42/hr (b4 RB) at 50 (12tabling) over the last 60K hands, and believe this is very sustainable (only 5PTbb/100). and have been strugglin to figure out why i shud move up, increase variance uncessarily, play more grinders, and probably make around the same hourly (tho RB will b higher).

i dunno...maybe ima pansy and am tryying to give myself reasons to not move up. but...i did just get up to 2.3K, so its time to give 100 another shot *kicks a stone*

Well, a lot of the big hands play themselves. Coolers, like set over sets, flush over flushes, etc. Also the drawing hands play themself for me b/c I generally play them very fast (i.e I have no problem shoving a flushdraw or straightdraw in a lot of situations). These hands will come up naturally and the decisions are usually pretty easy.

It's the hands where you have top pair, or an overpair and are facing aggression. How well you decihper whether your opponent is bluffing, on a draw or has a made hand -- it's something which will greatly affect how much money you make.
