Earlier when Phil was talking about the math, it reminded me of a hand when it was down to 50 at event 41, in fact the last hand of day 1. Danneman in the BB, Phil in the SB, two players limped in mid. Phill made it 10x BB to go, and Stevie D pushed over the top of him. The two mid limpers folded away and Phil cups his hat like Tiger Woods, and after a fewmoments says "according to the math, I gotta make this call." to which Stevie D says "Look around Phil, all the math players are gone. You cant listen to the math here. Phil thought about it for a few minutes, and then laid down A2s and Steve D had A8c. And there was not an ESPN camera in sight anywhere... I assure you, at almost 1 AM, it was a lot more interesting than what was happening over at the Main event.
