That's why it's funny when people say things like "dude it's just a forum" or something. I mean sure, it isn't very important, but it IS something that some sickos spend like a MAJORITY of their day/night doing.

I would feel sick depressed typing that but I am too hungover.

Anyway, I think CC or T-god are both good choices. The key to a good mod of bbv4l will be unshakability in the face of criticism and total disregard for either whining or flametorches.

Second, I really disagree with adding 1 or 2 full-time mods who have to be on all the time to deal with all the [censored] like bannings/answering PMs and all that. That's just going to lead to stress and hatred. I really, really, really don't want to be a full-time mod. I'll be part of the mod team if asked but there are better choices than me.

I'm going to repeat the idea that all we need is a small group (they can even be anonymous or non-green if possible) who can delete/edit some posts. It shouldn't be hard to cover most of the posts made in the forum with 4-5 guys.

Not addressed to GA: When the [censored] did this become a "Who can best clean up the 'bad' posters" thread? None of us are asking for that except the emos who never post there anymore anyway. The forum doesn't need a culling and IMO doesn't want it.

Reds: Just one time try an idea of mine? It'll work, trust me. No NT, no kyleb, just let the forum clean itself of posts that violate the T&C's without using the banstick and we'll be fine.

Mat,

That seems like a good choice indeed. Special Olympians prefer one of their own to be their leader. A mod of even average intelligence would make the other BBV4L'ers feel like there was something wrong with them. And from 2p2's perspective, just as you wouldn't use good iron for nails, you wouldn't want to use good mods in BBV4L.


Edited to add: I mean except for adanthar. I guess you do have to have one responsible adult supervise a group of children.
