I don't quite follow what you're saying, but I'm very very OK with that fold. He had shown 0 aggression previously and my line cost me less than re-raising him on the flop. There is just about no way he was firing a 3rd barrel without a jack or better.

yeah, gl easy.. wtf is the background though? Just a groudgematch? You think its worth youre time EV wise?

[/ QUOTE ]

no background. for some reason he agreed to this. looool. ship

def worth my time. i told myself weeks ago i'd play him every day for the rest of my life if i could.

only have played 2.5k hands with him, but i'm up 5 buy-ins, running 11ptbb/100...plz hold

on the month i'm running little over 15ptbb/100...he picked a bad time to play me. oh well. we'll see what happens. just going to keep doing what i'm doing.

thx guys. i lost tonight, like ~2.98k after 2,026 hands.

i got tired and made some mistakes..but a lot i oculdn't help. i was up 1k after around 700 hands and he was steaming. he went on a rush, started with TT < K8 on 854 board that i 3bet pf and crai on flop, 8 on riv...then he had Q7 vs my AA, 1.6k for me, 1.2k for him. Q79 flop, i get all in on turn against him...i think i made mistake here and could have folded turn. only thing i'm upset about with the match, and prob why i lost nearly 3k. Then he had A3 > AQ on a JTx flop. I got all in with what i figured was his fd, or KQ. I was right, but he rivered the flush. So right there is a quick -2k...in a pretty quick span.

i started to recover, and was down like 1.5k, but he went on another rush at the end and i think i was prob ready for bed. last meaningful had i had 77 and 3bet, flop A7x i bet, he call, t J i bet, he call, riv Q and made board 4 flushed, i check, he bet 420$ pot..i had to fold. vfrusrating but nothing i could do in a lot of those spots.

we play tonight at 7...i'm looking to have a better showing, and hopefully keeping him on tilt if i can jump off to a quick advantage early.
