Well, I seriously gave up last night, I'm not going to get hope until we are in... pretty crazy that the Pads couldn't close it out today

What a fun game!

We will win tomorrow.. gogogogogogo Brewers.

The game would be here if we force the playoff, right?

Yup, we won the WC flip

And if, for example the Phils/Mets/Rox all won and the Pads lost, then we'd have crazy craziness

The Phils/Mets would have to play on Monday, winner wins division, loser plays in "Play-in" game with Rox and Pads

And then the Rockies, who had winning records against both teams, would be team C in the A-B-C "Play-in" and on Tuesday, the Padres would play the Mets/Phillies, and then on WEDNESDAY, the Rockies would finally get to play, but they'd play in Philly/New York/San Diego... the winner of that game would win the WC.

Easy enough right?

"Black said he'll stick with his plan of starting Brett Tomko on Sunday, preferring to save ace Jake Peavy for a potential one-game playoff on Monday."

GO ROCKIES! GO BREWERS!

p.s. i am a yankee fan but it will be so awesome if the rockies make the playoffs that i have to root for them. plus the rockies are just so good (helton, atkins, holliday, hawpe, tulo, zomg). looking at the lineup yesterday, everyone but torrealba and iannetta is batting over .290 on the season!

Has a Denver team ever been national darling before? Even when Elway won his first superbowl, Green Bay was Americas team.

This is strange.

MIL has already coughed up a 3-0 spot in the first, so they've got work to do. NYM is already in a hole bigtime, and PHI is leading somewhat early too. Please god, let the Brewers come back... it would only be right to let it come down to the last game of the season for the Rockies, do or die
