I'm thinking of trading Ichiro or Eric Byrnes for Dan Haren. Are either one of these moves good for me. Haren hasn't been as good over the last month or so.

I'd trade Byrnes for Haren in a heartbeat. Would not do it for Ichiro though.

K maybe that veto worked out for me.

Sheets went down (probably for the season) so I cut him for Abreu.

I still have:
Bonderman
Haren
Escobar
Buehrle
Guthrie
Lackey

and Schilling on the DL.

Is trading Haren for Bonds still smart? If I lose one more pitcher I might be in trouble. Abreu seems to have turned it around.

I wouldn't give up Haren for Bonds. You can get a better hitter in return.

12 team rotisserie, offered Alf. Soriano, Hanley Ramirez, and Dan Haren for Jose Reyes and Sizemore. I lead in basically all hitting categories, big lead in steals, but I am last in ERA and WHIP, I should accept this trade right?

Take this trade and run. It's a great deal for you.

I wouldn't blame you for benching Maddux; he's given up 15 ER in his last 15.3 innings. Yes, he's at home and the Met's offense hasn't been what it was supposed to be this year, but Maddux is beginning to slip (he is 41 years old). Another scary stat is that Maddux only had 11 K's in 31 innings in June. That is some serious slippage going on.

I think im done with Stephen Drew in my keep 8 league. If i can drop him for Kouz, Lofton or the somewhat rebounding Felipe Lopez i should correct?

[/ QUOTE ]

No. Normalize his BABIP and give him a somewhat normal HR/FB rate and he's at .280/.340/.420 with a pace for 19 HR.
