Well I owe Sen. Frist about $900, considering I was unable to bet what I wanted because of Firepay's no more US deal. I still got 50 on Hughes and then had to pick up the tab for goodsamaritan but it was worth it i guess.

vera/sylvia should be ok but the fight i really want to see is vera/liddel. vera can fight at 205 and i think he may be the only one who can stand with liddel, and relying on taking him down is risky business.

i was extremely lucky on this last card. only lost one bet and that was a small one i made on mir after planning on betting vera the whole way, but getting spooked by the price. i then bet mir for a combination of sentimental reasons and wanting to have action on every fight,which was a mistake.
i got a pleasent surprice with mcfedries and loaded up on sylvia at +240 and st. pierre at +150 (waited too long on that one but am lucky cause almost waited too long altogether). i thought he was going to win but got spooked bad by the analysis of others and almost hedged when he became the favorite. luckily i decided to go down with my gut and got away with it.

sylvia looked good to me although his striking wasnt as dominant as i expected. i still have no doubts on his ability to strike and him not being a sitting duck on the ground makes him pretty scary. when monson got the first takedown i, along with a lot of others im sure, thought he was gonna rip his arm off and hoped timmy had enough sence to tap this time.

Nothing official lined up. Matt Serra is supposed to fight the title holder at welterweight, no specific time set for that match, but that could likely be next.

GSP owned that battle. He came in with a smart gameplan and executed it perfectly. He chopped down Matt's legs like no one has ever though to do before and neutered Hughes' take down ability. From there he stuffed matt's shoots EFFORTLESSLY and moved to a TKO. took a page from crocop too.

Since GSP will most likely be fighting Serra next, I'm hoping they feed Diego to Hughes in the meantime
