Minnesota might not be a great team, but calling them weak seems like a bit much.

@ Washington W 19-16
Carolina W 16-13
Chicago L 16-19
@ Buffalo L 12-17
Detroit W 26-17
Bye
@ Seattle W 31-13

They lost to a bad Buffalo team and in a game they gave up at the end. They beat Seattle on the road and Carolina (albeit without SS) at home.

This is not a great team, but it definitely isn't a weak team either.

I would...I'd get the story about the economy out there.

Unfortunately, no one really gets economics, or so it seems.

Remember people can only relate to what happens in their own lives.

Exactly what you would expect from the Bears. Defense gave up just enough stupid plays in the fourth quarter to remain angry. Grossman looked pretty smooth. Just needs to learn how to put that in a suitcase now and again. And the run game looked the best it has all year. Of course all of this against SF.

Next weeks game will be interesting in that if you take Miami too lightly or not at all their defense has enough talent to give the Bears offense a test. I would like to see some good adjustments to feel more confident against the Giants. It's really hard to not look past Miami, it will be an important lesson learned from the Arizona game if they don't.

The Falcons have looked good and the Giants have as well. The upside is I think these are two of the teams the Bears match-up best against. As teams like Carolina and Philadelphia fade (bad match-ups) I start to get more and more pumped up about this season.

We can nit pick all we want about how they fell apart in Arizona or how they couldn't get the ball in the end zone in Minnesota, but this is the most complete team in the league. And if that offense shows up against NY and NE they are going to be in a great spot.

I also would hold off on the Minnesota is average to above average talk until after tonight.

hola,

I missed the game due to some poor time management on my part...did the starters play the entire game or just up to the half or what?

I know Griese played, Benson played. I'm a 9ers fan. Only thing I was pissed about was the late 4th and goal that they went for. This result was expected. Chicago is home, fired up about the previous game and looking to prove something. They took it out on the 9ers, but I guess on the wrong team but they did look good. 9ers need a lot of help defensively it's sick. But that happens when you have an old D and they give away our best defensive player to FA.

MT2R is being more and more comical as the weeks pass. Is he the Baghdad Bob of sports? Run along and cheer your Cardinals as the weakest World Champs in history and quit pissing on this Bears thread, oh and get over that St Louis big city wannabe envy that you seem to be stricken with.

Great game by the Bears 7-0, against a weak schedule, but so what? The NFL is tough to win on the road. They played a good Minnesota divisonal rival on the road and still won. Anyone who knows football knows this is not an easy task. They had one bad game against AZ and still won. Meanwhile they have pasted everyone else
