[ QUOTE ]
i read the article about those 180s, and i think i am gonna play some in a few days, whenever i am feeling like playing. But i think 1 or 2 tabling will be boring... [/ QUOTE ] I would do more, but at these hours, the 180s seem to take a little while to fill up. I'm trying to find a good balance where I can play these with some consistency and still keep up my cash game, like maybe 6 50NL tables + 2 180s at any given time. I don't think I have the patience to strictly grind $4/180, because even a decent ROI would stunt my BR growth when compared to my regular 50NL game. I don't want to go higher than $4/180 yet because my MTT skills aren't great. I did read that article by Shaun and it helped me see the overall strategy. However, he writes like he's drunk (it's kind of hard for me to follow - maybe that's just his style). This thread has some other decent 180 info.: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...t=1#Post6812520 |

Ugh I'm not a fan of 180s, prefer regular mtts [/ QUOTE ] I think the 180s are a nice size because they offer standard MTT experience with more exposure to late round/FT play than a normal large field MTT. Also, I assume there is less variance. With that said, I was knocked out fairly early in my first 5 180s this morning and have now lost the motivation to play anymore of them today. I know it's pretty standard to have 10-25 180s in between cashes, but I want faster gratification, dammit. And that is why I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] uNL. |
