i was at the game today, and people around me actually wanted milledge to bunt when there were no outs and reyes was on second. thank god even willie didn't want to bunt in that situation

edit - oh yea, and i heard that if joe smith wasn't put back on the roster before sept 1st, he can't be on the post season roster. is this true? how does that work?

I don't know about that, but I can't see any possible situation where Joe Smith isn't called up on September 1st. Unless of course he gets hurt before then. We'll probably see Burgos get called up as well.
