Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
[ QUOTE ]
It would be nice if Beckett could give us 7 shutout innings going forward. That would make tonight a lot less stressful. [/ QUOTE ] it would be nice if teams could go in time and change the past also. but yeah, 7 shotout innings after the first inning would be nice. |

[ QUOTE ]
I thought it was common knowledge that he hated playing in Boston and didn't want to be here anymore. I could be wrong though, who knows. [/ QUOTE ] i have never heard that, i think i read he wanted to stay. regardless, why are we still atlking about orlando [censored] cabrera? renteria (before and after 04) is the far better player. it didnt work out here for him, let it go....in a world where jermaine dye gets resigned mid season and barry zito gets awful deals it barely rates as debate worthy. |

Fair batted ball that travels over the yellow line on top of the outfield wall (on the fly): HOME RUN. The umps may have got it right, but how the hell does a non-homerun ball bounce upwards? |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] seth, Bellhorn is possibly my favorite red sox of all time. He's just awesome on so many level. I'm convinced he and Leskanic worked in the same auto garage listening to heavy metal and smoking lots of weed. [/ QUOTE ] Would this be a good time to bring up my theory that Theo's biggest [censored] was not re-signing O-Cab? [/ QUOTE ] you can't sign he who does not want to be signed [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure O-Cab is on record saying they told him some thing like "thanks, but we're not interested in you anymore." [/ QUOTE ] I thought it was common knowledge that he hated playing in Boston and didn't want to be here anymore. I could be wrong though, who knows. That's awful if they didn't want to resign him. I don't think that's the case, though. [/ QUOTE ] After the champagne had dried, the Red Sox never made an effort to keep Cabrera as their shortstop. Part of the reason was that Boston seemed infatuated with another shortstop from Colombia, Edgar Renteria. There also have been rumors that the Red Sox had some off-the-field issues with Cabrera that weren’t related to how he played or behaved in the clubhouse. ‘‘It’s something that was never explained to me by the Red Sox,’’ said Cabrera. ‘‘I’m just happy that I was able to sign with one of the teams I wanted to play for.’’ From Article [/ QUOTE ] I'll read the article, but I just refuse to believe that. |

Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
[ QUOTE ]
homerun ball looked too close to call. that's assuming i have the rule correctly. if it hits the top part (flat part) of the yellow line, what's the call? because that's 100% definitely where it hit. [/ QUOTE ] I've got to think if the ball hits yellow, it's not a home run. The whole reason to make the yellow line is to make home run calls easier. It would be ridiculous if hitting part of the yellow line was a homer and hitting another part of it was a ball in play. |

Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
I have it on decent authority that Ocab liked young girls (like 16 or 17) and ownership didnt like that...and didn't bring him back

Re: ALCS - Indians vs Red Sox
[ QUOTE ]
There's only 3 ways you cannot think that was a homerun; 1. You didn't see it. 2. You're blinded by team loyalties. 3. You are retarded. [/ QUOTE ] You seem nice, post more. |
