ya I agree, current table dynamics can't really be quantified with historical stats all too accurately with these types of players.

BTW, as much as I agree that the forums are better than any book, reading books has to improve your game. If you are a serious student of the game you should be able to read a book and recognize the useful parts of it and discard the rest (i.e. think critically about the contents). Imho NOT doing so is being narrow-minded.

ToP contains a lot of concepts that you MUST understand to be good at ANY form of poker.

But it's not directly applicable to NL Cash.

I love HoH but it contains a lot of advice that is pretty shaky for playing with 100BB stacks.

Anyway, he's read ToP.
