pumpkin selects a target, the real target is actually randed and related to that person in some way and then a random action happens to that player fyi.
relation could be that player, a person that voted for that player, a person that defended that player etc...

[/ QUOTE ] This is not debatable, this is always how pumpkining has worked whenever there was an FGP. FGP chooses a target but the mod rands a real target using the chosen target as a seed; e.g. last person to vote for chosen target or the first person to reply to a post by the chosen target might be the real target. Then an effect (the list jgunnip gave is good) is randed.
