Every time Manny does something stupid, Buck and McCarver always act so shocked like this is the first time they've ever seen a Red Sox game. WTF

If it was a home run the ball would not have bounced back in to the field of play. It obviously hit the top edge of the fence. therefore it hit the yellow line and therefore it is not a home run.

[/ QUOTE ]

Backspin on the ball could do that, no?

Isn't hitting the yellow line a homerun?

Baseball seems to be the only sports where the announcers NEVER contradict the umps.

Oh god, now we have Moral Authority Joe Buck.

[/ QUOTE ]
I first realized Joe Buck was a self-righteous moralizing prick when Moss fake mooned the fans in Green Bay and Buck was choking back tears of outrage and calling it one of the greatest disgraces in the history of sports. He is a tool.

seth,

Bellhorn is possibly my favorite red sox of all time. He's just awesome on so many level. I'm convinced he and Leskanic worked in the same auto garage listening to heavy metal and smoking lots of weed.

Would this be a good time to bring up my theory that Theo's biggest [censored] was not re-signing O-Cab?

[/ QUOTE ]

you can't sign he who does not want to be signed

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure O-Cab is on record saying they told him some thing like "thanks, but we're not interested in you anymore."

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought it was common knowledge that he hated playing in Boston and didn't want to be here anymore. I could be wrong though, who knows.

That's awful if they didn't want to resign him. I don't think that's the case, though.
