wow, live poker is beyond retarded.

i'm in vegas for a week for work. i played the smallest stakes (1/2 NL) at the casino last night.

i mean this literally: these people played worse than 5 NL on stars. i kid you not.

my 4th hand. shorty raises utg $4 (he has 9 bucks lol). two people call (with decent stacks). i decide to squeeze with QJs for $30. MP1 reraises me to $70. wtf. so i'm getting decent odds but i have QJs and his line smells like AA. what do i know about live play anyway.

i fold he shows 88. lol.

for the next 40 hands or so (which is like an eternity), i observe. basically, everyone limps. and when someone raises limpers it's a minraise every time. lol. no one folds preflop ever. and most of the people buy in for $40 or $100.

then i pick up AA. a guy puts on a straddle (lol, wtf, why do we need a straddle at this table?). i raise to $25. some idiot calls me. flop is KhQhJs. ugh. i bet $35. he raises to $110. yuk. i fold (no one raises postflop, so i figured i was close to dead).

a few other hands, i decide to punish limpers from the button. dumb idea. no one folded. one of those hands i had JTs. c-bet my straight draw. everyone calls. turn brings second queen. some guys goes all-in lol. i fold. he shows Q3o.

we get down to 6 handed. i raise KQs utg. some idiot min 3-bets me me (min 3-bets aren't just AA/KK at this table). flop gives me a pure straight-flush draw. i c/r him all in. he keeps saying "do you have a jack?" he calls. AA is good. ugh. total damage about $300.

Dude Derosnec, except for your QJs play, I would've played everything just about the same... Atlantic city Taj Mahal is the same way too, how many other places do you get to play someone that are possibly the grandparents of your best friend going by age reads? That's why I'm a 9 for 10 winner down in AC 1/2 NL lol... The people just have no sense of implied odds, or strength of draws and %'s it's so hilarious.

Does anyone know any information on "TheCobra17" on Pokerstars I think is his screen name? He keeps calling me the name for a female dog, and putting me on tilt. I'm down almost $1000 at $50 NL over the past 2 days and I keep getting [censored] coolered to hell. Set over sets, QQ &lt; AK for stacks, flush under flushes... I can't wait till I run good/break even again, because I've played almost 10k hands the past 2 nights and I've had it up to here now with some of the beats and tough breaks I've been getting...

Another pot I remember for almost 3 BI's last night I had KQo and raised PF from MP, and a guy in the blinds OOP calls me. Flop is KQ4 and he leads into me!? I make it 13 to him and he donk bets it to like $35... so I just shove hoping he has AK or J10 and sure enough he has 44.
