Guy is like 25/19 over 100 hands, has 3 bet me habitually, probably 5-6 hands. I flatted him with 99 once & c/rd the flop successfully(he folded) on a T83 flop. Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (CO): $96 BTN: $238.35 SB: $65.30 BB: $190.15 UTG: $124.15 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG folds, Hero raises to $4, BTN raises to $14, 2 folds, Hero raises to $38, BTN raises to $238.35 and is All-In, Hero ? Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
slim, thats not a good reason to bc c/r the flop.
I'll get into it more when i get back to the gym, but basically you're folding out his worse hands and getting called by better. Leading or c/c is waay better. I'll be back in an hour for more! |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
[ QUOTE ]
Anyone here subscribe to cardrunner? I'm probably gonna subscribe and work on my cash game more this month and was wondering what vids would be good for me to start out watching. I have a ok winrate at NL25 and NL 50 over about 5k hands. [/ QUOTE ] I think cr is great for cash game vids. Muddy Water is the best low/mid stakes guy they have IMO. Anything by Green Plastic, Aba, CTS and Jman's one vid are all excellent. Most of their vids are higher stakes, but I have learned quite a bit that applies towards lower stakes from watching those guys. There are other good players who made good vids I'm probably forgetting, but the bottom line is there are a lot of great vids on that site. They recently added Adanthar to do MTT vids and his first few of those are also excellent. |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
Without reads at nl50 I call just because AA and KK rarely play it this way and you're ok against everything else. I know some tricky players will do this with AA and KK (because people like me think they won't) but I need reads to credit them.

[/ QUOTE ] That call is odd. I prefer to bet again though. There's a lot of hands that call from the SB and then call you down the whole way that you're beating. K9, 22, and 99 are the only ones beating you. |
