I believed he started at 1/2 and over the last few months has been playing 3/6 and up.

So anybody get it yet?

Real a bummer that there are no more double VPPs...could have guaranteed supernova elite for myself.

Are they still expecting like 20 elites?

38 players over 600,000 VPPs as of today. 4 of these players have 900,000-999,000 VPPs.

I am so stupid and was wondering if I were to 12 table $1/2 NL for 8 hours a day (say 60 hours a week because I go nuts on weekends) as a Supernova Elite what would my time table to be to get a Porsche starting on January first if I have 1.5 million FPPs saved. Can anybody much more math inclined (smarter) do a quick estimate.

I was thinking possibly by September 2008, though this really depends on whether I can get Elite or not.

1.5M / 5 = 300k

12*60= 720 table hours per week * ~75 hands per hour = 54k hands a week.

I don't play 1/2NL but I think someone mentioned it was ~.4 base points / hand. 54k*.4 = 21.6K base points per week.

About 14 weeks would do it.

1,500,000points / 21600 points/wk = 69wks

edit: I think it was .45vpp/hand for NL100. I don't recall what it was for NL200.

Because he is SNE he earns 5 times so 1.5M points only requires 300k base points.

Ah, quite right. Off to the coffee shop for me. I obviously need caffeine to think straight this morning.
