well, forget the streak, but we had to win out here to have a chance. just didn't get the timely hits, but we won't be facing webb-caliber pitchers tomorrow or sunday.

Our chances of wildcard are much much smaller now.

I would still be happy with this season if the Monfort family gave me any glimmer of hope of holding this team together next year.. but they do not have a history that makes me feel comfortable with giving them any benefit of doubt.

Today could not have gone worse...Philly won, SD won...sure, the Mets lost, but who cares.

Thanks to Milwaukee's 9th inning comeback and extra inning win... no, we're not out yet. Have to put up back-to-backers though, and Milwaukee needs to punch out the Pads tomorrow.
