Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 4, Fri., July 13 **
Laurence Hughes Eliminated
Laurence Hughes moved all in with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. He was called by Christian Togsverd's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. The flop was {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The turn was the {K-Spades} and Togsverd took the lead. The river was the {3-Diamonds}. Hughes headed to the rail as Togsverd increased his stack to 1.3 million. GG huge. We seem to be down to, at most , 281 now.
Pokernews has payouts listed to 288th and at least 6 reported bust outs that aren't listed. |

It seems that every minute or so someone is all in and eliminated. What the hell is going on?

[/ QUOTE ] definitely less than that if they're back from break 337 to start the day minus 57 (confirmed number) eliminated in that first hour leaves 280 to start the new level about 20-30 minutes ago... gogogogogogogogo carter! |

I also wonder how much people started to become pre-occupied with their stack size relative to the table average/leaders rather than the blinds. It's like they're seeing everyone accumulate chips as people get knocked out and they forget that they don't have to push 30BB UTG with 22. [/ QUOTE ] this is an excellent point. its so easy to do this, especially since players are not used to such deep tourneys, at this stage in a regular tourney they have to make a ton of moves. i would wake up every morning and say to myself, remember, its a marathon not a sprint because i would feel myself wanting to do the same. |
