Was checking on an update from a friend who qualified thru pokerroom and came across this on their blog Its true 5 Aces can be done!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sun Jul 30, 01:50 AM We have just had a very reliable source revealing that after watching a table in the main event late last night, the antes were all put in and the cards were dealt only for the Big Blind to turn over pocket rockets before any action had been made. The rest of the players looked shocked and confused and asked him what he was doing when he pointed out that they were both spades. A tournament director was soon at the table and not surprisingly this has still to be reported by any official sources. Hmmmm, the question is how long it had been there and where did it come from . Author: Admin http://www.pokerroom.com/blog/ C [/ QUOTE ] I can confirm this. It was on the table right next to mine. |

Pokerpages has both 1A and 1B together in one huge list. I'm hoping to find a place where there's only 1B

Made it to day 2..
Early on I lost a bunch of sick pots and got down to 5k, then build my stack up to about 9k from winning a lot of small pots and then moved to a new table. Got dealt KK and raised to 450 or something, and got a caller on the button. Flop came A K 9 w/ 1 heart, I check, he fires 700, I make it 1900, he instacalls. Turn is a random heart, I bet 2400, he calls. River a random heart, I allin my remaining 4300 or so and he calls and mucks. Then later at 150/300 a big stack limps, I make it 1400 with AA, everyone folds to him and he calls. Flop comes A87 with 2 spades, he checks and I bet 2400, he asks me how much i have left (I had about 13000 left), and he called. Turn pairs the 8, but there are still 2 spades. He checks and I contemplate betting, but check behind. River is a Jd and he fires out 5000, I allin after 1 minute of deliberation and he folds. I'm up to 27000 or so. I get moved to a new table at 200/400, and make a few raises and re-raises with quality hands, then on the SB I call a LP raise of 1500 with 88, and the button calls as well. LP raiser had about 16000 behind. Flop comes T 9 8 with 2 hearts (I have 8c 8s), I fire out 4000 into the pot, the BB folds, and the button insta-allins. I take about 30 seconds to deliberate but know I can't fold this. LP raiser had AA and I'm up to about 47000. Finished the day with 44575 and am ready to go card-dead on Tuesday.
