what is with the "quinn slipping" hype? espn is going overboard with this, the only chance he had going top 5 was to cleveland, and that wasn't even 50/50

[/ QUOTE ]

ESPN has had a story on SportsCenter about Quinn almost every day for the last 3 weeks. He's their boy. Nothing sells like style over substance.

Is Landry a cover safety or a hitting safety? I've sort of heard both. Because the Skins desperately need someone back there to clean up Taylor's coverage mess.

[/ QUOTE ]

Landry's biggest weakness is coverage. He is a good blitzer and run stopper, although I saw him get run over a bunch this year. HE IS OVERRATED!

[/ QUOTE ]

So... in other words... McNabb is going to have a field day against them throwing deep. Hollla.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did they really say Taylor was gonna have to play center field covering alot? At least he covers better than Roy Williams

Nothing wrong with taking Levi there, if they couldn't trade down at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem is the money you have to pay a #5, plus the fact that nobody thinks he (or Thomas, ftm) remotely is on Jonathan Ogden's level.

Speaking of which, nobody thinks Gaines or Branch are on Bruce Smith or Reggie White's level, do they? I'm not saying Thomas, Adams, Brown, & Branch will all be busts, but...

And Leinart is a lefty and we're still getting this "Left Tackle!" nonsense. Okoye should've been the pick, and you can either keep him, or trade down and still get Brown plus a 4th rounder maybe, and save 5-10 million.

[/ QUOTE ]

no one would trade. plus u can get scewed if someone trades up in front of u..happens.

BAP is a horrible way to draft in this case for these main reasons.

Yr franchise is tied up in yr offense
Matt Leinert needs to be protected at all costs
Your running game needs huge help after u spent 5 mil a year on Edge.
Russ Grimm your new line worked out both Brown and Thomas and said if it was up to him he would draft Brown over Thomas.

So u have a HUGE glaring need on OL but u draft a 20 year old defensive player instead just cuz he MAY be the BAP?

If your going to take the BAP it would have been APeteresen anyways.

I trust Grimm...his line was pretty damn good in Pitt.

I know they aren't, but that's just more glaring than any other position. Maybe we should trade down or take AP
