I still have seen no hard evidence of any "botting" or whatever you guys call it.

Full Tilt might consider your complaints harassment AND LOCK YOUR ACCOUNT.

FWIW, there are also limit bots on FTP that I am 100% sure are bots. I've been keeping quiet about them because I've been raping them.

this is a troll for sure. def. not the bot programmer.

guys, it's not even a troll really.
It's just a joke-post. And a pretty obvious one. And I also thought a pretty funny one too but evidently a lot of people just didn't "get it".

Some of you non-hockey types or non-Americans might not see the obviousness of his joke.
his name is a parody of the best young hockey player in the league who happens to play for Pittsburgh.
So this one isn't even a 'vague' Pittsburgh sports-reference. It's a totally obvious one.

Guess the joke would have been more obvious if he just named himself, "GoPittsburghPirates_BucsIn06!!!"

Terry - Okay, now the joke is a bit old. Was funny at first though imo.
Please try not to derail the thread any further since we are still talking about a somewhat serious issue and also appeared to be doing it WITH the actual guy doing it (which maybe you are also, perhaps parodying yourself?!?! that would be weird)

Wow, 11 hours from being posted on 2+2 and the zoo digs up the name of one of the botters.

I wonder how long it'll take FTP to respond to this.

To the poster who mentioned that PokerTracker guys and Internet Chess Club are both located in Pittsburgh.
I'm almost 100% certain this is correct.

It's been awhile since I've played on ICC but I distinctly remember seeing a Pittsburgh address somewhere on their screen.

I'm not sure if this would have any significance at all since anyone, anywhere can be good at bot-gaming type stuff.

PT developers are from well north of the city

[/ QUOTE ]

Steeler and Penguins fans they still would be. From Pittsburgh to Erie is pretty much homogeneous as to sports with a few Cleveland die hards. How far do you think "well north" is? Pittsburgh-Erie-apprx. 150 miles. No one is western Pennsylvania would ever consider himself divorced from Pittsburgh. The center is Pittsburgh.
