I cant believe your lawyer didnt advise you to not accept this deal.. AT MOST you are getting possesion with intent.. And likely NOTHING unless someone did a controlled buy.. Manufacturing?? You got the classic case of lets charge this guy with everything even though nothing will stick so he will be skerred and plea to some BS.. [/ QUOTE ] possession with intent is 6 years min with an 85% truth in sentencing clause, meaning at least 4 1/2 years actual time served. That is a huge deal. does your opinion change if you know the guy that ratted me was the son of high ranking local police officer?

There seemed to be interest in the story, so I posted it. This stuff doesn't sit in my mind on a day-to-day basis. Good luck...you end up with a shrink and all sorts of evaluation time that make you less likely for electronic detention. A fight is the best way.

Great read. Read the entire thread. Thanks for sharing.
Since you no longer use and assuming you might want to work in your educational field in the future, I wonder if it would be a good idea to pay to have yourself regularly drug tested so in the future you could should employers that you have been clean long term.

[/ QUOTE ] i've never even though of that....I should consider it also, education is probably forever out at the high school level and below. Even an expungement will show up through those checks.
