I've starting playing 50NL lately, and the main difference I'm seeing from 25NL is frequent 3-betting pf. What do you consider your calling range for 3-bets pf? Consider this against your standard 50NL TAG (20-30/10-15 stats). How much does this differ OOP and in position?

I think my calling range has been a little too wide and is my primary leak.

On the flip side, have people opened up their 3-betting ranges pf?

[/ QUOTE ]

Nah, you should fold more, people at $50NL only 3 bet preflop with AA.

Hi all, back from my holiday in Egypt with the gf, awesome time though the heat did start to get to me by the end of the week. Anyways, now its back to poker and the wonders of the uNL brew. Am guessing nothing major has happened here in the past week? Let me know

Have been travelling non stop since yesterday morning so time for some rest, see you all tomorrow.

What's their to do in Egypt? Did you get to ride any dune buggies or anything cool? Fly on a magic carpet perhaps? MR WOOOSTER

AA is definately the minimum hand for a 3bet, if you dont have AA beat, just fold.

I don't think without very good reads that you should be calling many 3bets oop---- 4betting is probably better, in position your calling range should be very limited and only against selected opponents (best candidates are those who 3bet you with frequency) and you should only do this to keep them honest b/c they probably will 3bet you until you prove you can do something about it.
