About the Richard Simmons/PA rule:

The rule was vague. It says "the death takes priority" Originally I took that to mean that in the case of things conflicting, the death is still going to happen, and thats why when Mark pm'd me to ask, I said he still gets super-Richard.

Then Mark asked if that was still the case w/ rule #3, and I read the rule more closely and thought about and tentatively reversed my position while pm'ing BobO and telling Mark that Bobo would have the call on this one.

In this situation I wanted to go with BobO's intent. There were times this game I took my own prerogative in making rule changes and rule interpretations, but I was happy to defer to BobO here based on what his original intent was. In all other situations according to the rules, night actions still go through in the case of death, and it was not BobOs intent to cause a night action not to happen in the case of a death here.

Evils felt like they got screwed, but they really didn't, because this was not something that would have effected the gameplay on previous rounds, nor was it something that was discussed and ruled one way and then another (except for my tentative ruling last night).

I think when you read the game summary, everyone will see that luck was a big factor.
