OT: [censored] thread, August, READ RULES IN TOP POST

So I'm reading Irieguy's "The difference between success and failure" post cause I've been taking some ugly beats lately and its really making me play like [censored] when the following happen.

Get slow rolled by KT on J9Q flop holding AA which then causes a chat warning from stars

TT<Q8 on board of 3386
66<KK over half my stack went on 69T flop
4 way AI of QQ vs 99 vs AJ vs AK. A hi flop
77<65 on 6422 board.


Now I know everyone has experience runs like and much worse than this and these were just 5 hands that happened in the past 90 minutes, but I just thought it was extra special considering what I was reading.

And since none of my friends play or understand anything about poker I needed somewhere to vent all of this. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

no, more than 5. Those were just the ones that I clearly remember. This has been happening all week. Those 5 were just from the tourneys I had running.

Ok I'm not a huge character around here so lets not make this a huge event.

Why GNR? Why rock? Because I like people that are genuine [censored]. I hate if I have to try to figure out if a person is a bird or a fish (finnish saying). In my book all the great pretenders should burn in hell. How does this relate to GNR or rock? Well Axl is the biggest [censored] out there for sure (hope his not pretending though [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) And I play the guitar (not like Slash though [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ).

Also, most of my friends listen to rock nowadays (they used to dig euro-pop, lol) because it's cool and it's fashionable (remember this is Finland!) but they listen to "fresh" rock (Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance etc.) and know jack [censored] about BB King - not to mention Rober Johnson - so I rebel against the reblious rock pretenders.
