Re: AA hand, call river lead?

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Assuming you have more money offline, I would recommend getting a good coach immediately. Invest $5-6k now and it will pay off quick. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, that's a lot of coaching for a 25 or 50nl player. [/ QUOTE ] I'm just saying, anyone who wants to improve quickly and has the money should definitely make the investment now, rather than spend MONTHS struggling at SSNL like most players do. $5-6k is only one decent month at 1/2 so the coaching pays for itself relatively quickly. Look at futuredoc. He got one month of coaching from Paster and now he's having $30k months. Sick. [/ QUOTE ] 5k/6k is a lot for a NL100 player how much did paster make? [/ QUOTE ] much more than that, but it also included staking and it was % of profits so i didnt have to pay all at once [/ QUOTE ] coach me |

He might fold to a shove, unless he has a nice hand which more than likely beats you (he might call TT, AK, AQ... will call JJ-AA) |

He may stack off with these postflop too. I don't know what to do vs a relative unknown here. Do I want to fold those hands out on the flop along with the possibility of an A or K flop. |

Guy is like 25/19 over 100 hands, has 3 bet me habitually, probably 5-6 hands. I flatted him with 99 once & c/rd the flop successfully(he folded) on a T83 flop.
Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (CO): $96 BTN: $238.35 SB: $65.30 BB: $190.15 UTG: $124.15 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG folds, Hero raises to $4, BTN raises to $14, 2 folds, Hero raises to $38, BTN raises to $238.35 and is All-In, Hero ? [/ QUOTE ] Id usually just get it in. Youre going to get called by hands youre ahead of often enough to profit. If you take a flop and the board come all undercards you wont stack AK anyway, and youre likely to lose youre stack to AA KK anyway, so you might as well shove pre. |

I'd just fold and wait for a better spot, although the pot is so bloated you might almost have the odds to call. No dont 4 bet more with marginal hands against guys like that. Do it less against them. |
