That's a lot of money for AJs preflop.

It's an open raise on the button by a TAG.

I expect to see a flop very rarely.

Your PF 3-betting range is too tight.

That's a fine raise against any type of player pretty much given the position where the action is coming from, and his position and hand.

I probably would too, but I don't hate the flop check. This is a shortstack, and without reads that often means big cards. But the calling of a 3-bet means it isn't AA-QQ,AK most of the time. His checking the flop means it isn't AQ.

I'd have to bet out on the turn though. I might shove, or I might bet 1/3 the pot though, to induce his all-in to push my weak ass off the pot. Why? I'd be reading him as behind, and probably JJ-99. A shortstack would find a weak bet too juicy to pass up a lot of the time, and hope you didn't have an ace.

Srsly, why? This is pretty much textbook WA/WB. He's not folding AK/AQ/QQ and I don't see him calling with much else. You really think he stacks off with KK/JJ/TT/99/88 unless we give him the opportunity to push? And it's just bonus that he might bluff with something like KT...

Checking is the best move... he will pretty much give you what he has by how much he bets.

Ugh, worst session in a very long time. I've started playing my draws way too fast for $50NL again. Just no fold equity whatsover. All the suck-outs don't help either.

I've been running really bad on Stars all week. I think I might just 12-table at FTP until I finish their bonus and take a break from Stars hoping that'll reset my doomswith.

Sigh, I'm gonna be playing the rest of the day just trying to get back to break-even.

its text book WA/WB , but u are not very deep. I would check it once but not twice. If he is not going to take a shot at it on flop I assume he has atleast something to go showdown with so I wont be giving any more cards.
