Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $3/$6 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $648.30
BB: $885.00
UTG: $591.00
Hero (UTG+1): $963.85
MP1: $309.00
MP2: $657.85
MP3: $623.55
CO: $279.50
BTN: $289.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (9 Players)
UTG raises to $24.00, Hero calls $24.00, MP1 calls $24.00, 6 folds

Flop: ($81) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG bets $42.00, Hero raises to $155.00, MP1 folds, UTG raises all-in to $567.00, Hero calls $412.00

Turn: ($1215) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($1215) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $1,215.00 ($3 Rake)

UTG had K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a flush, Ace high) and LOST (-$591.00)
Hero had 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a straight flush, Five to Nine) and WON (+$621.00)

I've hit some two outers before but usually it's cuz I thought I had the best hand, not cuz I'm calling due to pot odds with my "10-and-maybe-sometimes-more outer"

Poor guy.

I can't beileve I have never ran into this situation before with all the hands I have played. However, I have a ? - Can you be clearing two bonuses at the same time, as in the sense that base fpps accumulated will be going towards both bonuses at once? Or would they clear 1 then the other?

I buy (2) $1500 VIP bonuses at the same time, can I be clearing these at the same time? What about (1) $650 and (1) $1500 bonus?

Edit: On stars

They don't clear concurrently.

So one would clear first then the other..Dunno the order but I would say by date purchased or time.

interesting thought

my basic line of thought was that he must be trying to induce bluffs so I'll bet the most that he thinks I could bet as a bluff

I never thought he'd a) have top set and b) flatcall with it

askdljcnaliuencasd

just seems like if he's been slowplaying and has enough to call all-in then he'll just shove overtop... guess not

Rereading the hand I still think I like the shove, but not necessarily as much as I did. I didn't realize it was 5 handed and he would have been inclined to 3bet and check a lot more flops 5handed than if it had been FR in my mind. Also, I would think JJ is a good part of his range an would expect him to call a shove with rivered second set. It seems like checking the flop and calling turn would be a pretty standard line to take with JJ in this spot so that would fit. The upside to your bet sizing is that I think it can induce some hero calls from KQ, AJ, and maybe even hands like 1010 if the guy is an an aggro 6max type mindset. If he is still on FR cruise then you're still probably only getting called by AQ+ even with the 3/4 pot bet.
