Well, since there are 2998 entrants, this is fairly applicable. First place is 150.77 points, last place is 0 points. Making the final table gives you 119.50 points, making the money gives you 91.49 points. For the two places you gave, 256th gives you 96.76 points, where 384th gives you 92.49 points. Basically, every person you beat, you get .0334 points.
