broke through the glass case and stole 10-10k chips,

this one actually seems pretty weird too.
I have no problem believing that the cameras simply didn't notice him. Seriously, those guys only have so many cameras and are just roving around from location to location trying to spot suspicious stuff...and also can get into daydream-mode I imagine.

But the fact that the guy ONLY took 10 chips seems weird.
There weren't more 10k chips to take?
He didn't grab a handful of 1k chips and stuff them into his pocket?

To go so far as to try a smash-and-grab hoping that nobody is looking and then only scoop up 10 chips strikes me as odd.

Standard investigating technique is to mention a similar (usually fabricated) crime and see how the alleged victim reacts. Also could be setting up expectations - "Hey we have bigger fish to fry..."

Good luck with this (you're gonna need it.)

1.) Get a lawyer & 2.) Sue Harrah's.
3.) Hire a publicist & 4.) Make an even bigger Stink.
5.) Boycott any & every thing Harrah's (yes, including WSOP,) 6.) Take your business elsewhere,& 7.) advise your Harrah's host of #s 1-6.

"May your god go with you."

This is way off track. Stop mentioning teh lolscammaments, blatant myspace advertising, and my stupidity for not putting $$$ in the cage.
My friend, Allen Kessler, who is my friend, suggested that I post here just for some advice on what to do. My other friends include Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Patrik Antonius and El Diablo. I have pictures of my friends on myspace. Some of my friends told me if I don't wanna go public I shouldn't have posted on a public forum, so at my friend's advice, I'm not going public yet so I'm going to stop posting here now.

Who are you ? Sounds like you the OP, yes ? So ... you created a new "Rakeking" account to post anonymously about the "theft" but just now you forgot you were logged in under your usual alias and accidentally posted as "Injection" ?

Your credibility continues to tumble. I wouldn't try to scam Doyle. He has ways of dealing with people like you.

Good catch.

Posting money means it is deposited into the CASINO CAGE, not put into a hotel room safe. The player posts the cash with the cage and can draw against it by filling out markers at the tables.

"Important to the story" is wrong, try "fatal to the story".

[/ QUOTE ]

See, thats what I thought it meant to. Which leaves me with the further question, OP, what did you "mean" when you said that you "posted 40k?"`

[/ QUOTE ]

Still waiting for an answer to this question Op. Its a really easy question for you to answer assuming you've been completely on the level with us. (And its been asked three times now in this thread). If you don't answer it though, then I really begin to suspect your story.

Could you perhaps post the police report? This should be available by now? That way we could at least have the most up to date police information. Thank you.

Tell Harrahs that if they don't do something better you will go to the press. Check with the police first, but give and interview and tell the press all that you know. Bring up all the theft and the lack of security and response.

Also, have one of the law firms write a letter to Harrahs. Sometime just a threat of a court battle brings them to the bargining table.

Default Time for a Reality Check. .... enough ridiculous \"Hey Go to the Press

This is not directed at this poster in particular, but PLEASE let's get back to Earth and the real world:

1. "give and interview and tell the press all that you know." --- This is an ignorant suggestion because "the press" has better things to do than spend time talking to someone where there is no real story. Further, what sway do you think Harrahs' has over local media in Las Vegas, enough to kill an unsupported, damaging story ?

How do you propose to get an "interview", drop by the local television station and have them spend time talking to you ? Why would they do that, against Harrahs' interest, let alone put you on the air ?

2. "Bring up all the theft and the lack of security and response." ---- Did you even read the OP ? He says there was PLENTY of response, all the way up to hours of CSI work, if he is to be believed. Trust me, "man reports loss of $32K at Rio from safe" is NOT newsworthy.

3. "have one of the law firms write a letter to Harrahs. Sometime just a threat of a court battle brings them to the bargining table. " ---- Harrahs has a Risk Management department, or did you not read that part. Their JOB is to deal with claims of loss. Do you think that no one has ever claimed "money stolen from safe" before ?

4. As a cost/benefit matter, what do you propose he PAY for a law firm to write a letter for him ? What do you think will happen next ?
