I don't have time to try to solve everything, so I'll just type this out so I won't be tempted to proceed with my percieved advantage. Periodic table? Substance in the hydrogen group closest to Uranium or Wolfram? Without going to deep into it, it seems the answer could be Cesium = CS. edit: The reasoning for this answer is not perfect, I probably have some part of it wrong, but still it seems CS is probably the answer to that one. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Lol, someone is close [/ QUOTE ] pretty obv CTS, amirite? |

This thread is a great example of why making good cryptic puzzles is much harder than it looks.

I'm not good enough to solve them all, so another bunch of thoughts.
[ QUOTE ] Maybe "In the right sect, below the rank of green dinosaur [/ QUOTE ] TxRedMan? T-Rex "in the right" == Txre, man below dinosaur in zoological classification/rank? [ QUOTE ] Yiddish orange, or maybe pineapple. [/ QUOTE ] Orange juice/pineapple juice, vigorish is Yiddish slang for juice. So, Vigorish. [ QUOTE ] A danced, we, hers; oven (in spanish), aeon vu (in french) [/ QUOTE ] oven == horno, aeon vu == saw age. horny, saw age? Some BBV poster that picked up an underage girl, got to her home? i'm not up to date enough on BBV to know who this'd refer to. |
