I agree that I don't think the police would kill themselves for this guy, and I'm not even sure Grimm would get the money back were he prosecuted. I also doubt he has the money on him at this point as well - so maybe now it's more difficult to prove. EDIT - I feel like Grim was foolish to post this to begin with. Now he can't get a PI to do some serious [censored] to get the money back because he's implicated.

Would it be possible for Grim to call his cell phone company, tell them he lost the phone while in California, give them the number/other info, then they could track it and tell him where it is?

Rick didn't have $150K to his name. He also had $60k stuck in Neteller, which gives him motive as well. Sorry, but the money is pretty obviously Grimstarr's - and PT would confirm as well. im just making things up that rick COULD say if grim were to try the police route. obv 2p2 would/could see through these things but the police, not so much. anyone thinking the police would do a thing for grim are freaking delusional.
