What do you mean? Their isnt set rules on that, suspect different referee teams work differently, as long as 1 does each half and are on oppisate sides is fine, also cameras are at different sides in some stadiums.

I think it's hilarious. You get so much of the "that's a good team and it'll be a good test for us" tripe from NFL coaches, that it's refreshing to hear a coach talk about how great his team is.

Yep. The last game of the season is May 13, 267 days from the first game of the season. (117 days longer than the NFL season).

I am pretty sure there is a rule that says assistanse referees must be on the front right and rear left...

It says at the end of that wiki link that they can run a right and be the opposite way, at Sunderland home matches the assistants have been on both sides many times, somtimes they swap over at half time sometimes not, seems to be down to the preferance of the ref.

Man Utd go 2-0 up.

I can't remember ever watching a game with the refs positioned that way. It doesn't matter anyway.

It is upto the main referee he will tell the assistants if he wants left or right backs
