lotso- go troll/shill elsewhere. BBV is definitely not the place for you- although letting you run wild for a bit could be in our interest. [/ QUOTE ] Let him be, its kinda slow until AP releases their statement and I'm kinda bored-I could use a good laugh. |

Things I have taken from this saga so far.
1) We might not know exactly how or to what extent yet, but the original cheating in addition to the repeated attempts at cover-ups in addition to the fact that noone can even ascertain who's running things Absolute Poker, shows that the organisation is rotten at the higher levels. 2) I am glad fraternities don't exist in Australia. 3) Online poker is not a well regulated industry. 4) Due to (3) this matter will be resolved one way or the other through a PR war, one in which Absolute Poker will likely have better resources than those who wish to see the truth exposed. For this reason it is possible that AP will remain a viable business entity when all of this is said and done. 5) the perpetrators of this cheating, and Absolute Poker through it's response to the accusations (reserving judgment and assuming "Absolute Poker" wasn't the perpetrator in the first place), have done a huge amount of damage to the online poker industry at a point in time when it is vital that online gaming companies and poker players in general present a a positive image in the name of acquiring political capital. Anyone who continues to play at Absolute knowing what we now know compounds this damage. They also give ammunition to people who claim online poker sites are rigged and can't be trusted ("Absolute cheated its players and it's still in business!"), and they also set a terrible precedent to other unscrupulous individuals and organisations who will take note ("Absolute cheated its players and it's still in business!"). 6) More than anything else this story demonstrates the need for online poker to be properly regulated, but that's not how it will be reported, and it's not what most people will take from it. |

Lots0, you're being a child. AP has already admitted they were compromised. I don't know why you are so in love with these rogues. |

FWIW lots0 just apologized to me in an email so this guy's just a run of the mill troll, which is kinda unfortunate because it'd otherwise be really funny

Only a total donkey could still not believe something happened at AP and the hh's were forged. |
