Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep
Okay guys. For one, the saboteur only has 1/2 the chance of being here, for two, the saboteur probably wouldn't bother with a trap on the 4-choice thing, especially since Luckay is here and who knows what the hell he'll push the village to do (send 1 person? lol!)
okay, so... Send 1 Person Pro: If all the people sent get a bad effect, then only one person gets a bad effect. Con: If we only send 1 person, that person may get a very bad effect. (Death?) Send 2 Persons Pro: Middle-Path Con: Middle-Path Send 3 Persons Pro: Possibly have enough manpower to fight off the monster and discover fat treasure Con: Possibly have all 3 get a bad effect No Split Pro: No Risk Con: No Gain I'm for sending 3 people. Page 14, let's discover some treasure, guys! |

Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep
ACTUALLY, I've changed my mind
We're doing good as is, let's keep the status quo Let's go for NO SPLIT. Having a bad effect land on 3 persons could be potentially disastrous. I'm for this... [ QUOTE ] If you decide against splitting the party, turn to page 27. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep
I'm pretty sure 99% of all pog CYOA teams will never even consider choosing "send 1 persons", which is why I'm thinking of perhaps doing a high-stakes gamble...
but no, let's be tight passive here, and not split the party |

Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep
I'm actually predicting now, that sending 3 persons = you sent too many people, the monsters notice you, the 3 person team gets bad effect
2 persons = a push, you manage to run away 1 persons = you manage to stealthily eavesdrop on the monster, possibly get a hint at who the evils are No Split = push, nothing exciting happens but who knows? Anyways, let's go for No Split |

Re: CYOA: Toria-ran Keep
fwiw, i think it's silly to even try to figure out what choice would be "best", or what the consequences are of a choice. I just pick whatever one seems fun or "in-character" for me.

[ QUOTE ]
People who are more villagery because of the kbar lynch Bluffblank (a lot more. Village lock) Lastchance (a lot more. Village lock) Traz (slightly) MDD (medium) Mark_K (a lot more) Metsandfinsfan (a lot more. Village lock) Madtown (a lot more) Chuckles (a lot more) This is based solely on this thread, combined with the other thread, kbar was hemmoraging villagers, probably [/ QUOTE ] i like this list but dont think bluff is in the clear. KBar was the assassin. He was more powerful than a regular evildoer. It was apparant pretty early after the roster split that most of us would only be willing to vote for kbar or bluff. So if both k-bar and bluff were evil, k-bar would still fake seer to try and save himself --- and it would also clear himself if bluff comes up evil. |
