Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October
I watched the entire process. Saw Reynolds open shoving on 8 50nl tables and then I followed him to $25/$50 and 5/10 HU. I was thinking about sitting with him and then Parseval sat. I felt kinda sorry for him, I assume he is atleast a marginal winner in the 50nl games and to watch him blow through 2k was a bit sad. On the plus side he sat before I did and thus might have saved me $$.

Re: **Official** uNL Microbrew Thread - October
My autoreload script at stars has stopped working... Instead of reloading my stacks it forces the lobby to the front and my tables to not function. Anyone else have problems with this?

[ QUOTE ] since i've been getting 3bet relentlessly by regs since i increase my vpip/pfr, let me ask you guys: what would be more effective do you think: normal 4-bet size or 4-bet shoving? don't worry about whether i should 4bet for now, just want to know about most effective bet size. [/ QUOTE ] I think that 4bet shoving will get called lighter by alot of people than an actual 4bet using the pot button or slightly less. Seems I have watched a ton of 4bet shoves end up being AK/QQ/JJ type hands. [/ QUOTE ] I've seen a coach in a video say that 4bet shoving with deep stacks is bad, because people will put you on a scared AK that wants to see all 5 cards if you don't fold. 4betting and leaving money behind is scarier to most people, because it will look like you don't mind seeing a flop here and / or want to suck him in. And when you don't shove, your opponents has a tougher decision to make, because there are more options (not really in a logical order): - are you bluffing? - if yes, should they call? - if no, should they call because their hand is still pretty good against your range? - If they call, do they have to hit a flop to call your push since you will probably be first to act? - Do they have fold equity if they push? - Should they push for value? If you shove, they just have to decide: call yes or no. It's basically a range estimation. If they have more factors to think about, they can make more mistakes. |

[ QUOTE ]
Don't you hate sitting at a table with kizza_om, knowing he's running so hot (and probably playing well too)...you just know you're going to lose money. [/ QUOTE ] Wow I'm now famous on the internet. I enjoy the fact you have playing well in brackets. What do I have to do to get playing (running?) well? Thing, I like chatting to some other regs on Aim, and you seem pretty solid which is a rarity at 50nl, so add me if you want to chat poker/berate me. |
