I think when you snap call 22-55 near a satellite bubble it lets pstars know that you mean business and adds like a 50% chance of your hand holding/sucking out.

Yeah, I'd really like to know how that nasty of cut happened. I hope to god it didn't get caught in the socket.

That's my friend's daughter. She's a sweet kid. Notice I did not post this in OOT.

Basically they take you up in a gondola and you ride down the mountain. Neither of us has a clue what we're doing on a mountain bike, but the trail was green (easy). Also we had done another easy trail and fared ok. This trail had a lot of nasty switchbacks in sandy gravelly stuff though.

Early on the trail I came around one pretty much out of control and accidentally hit my front brake. Flipped of course and got back on the bike, didn't feel anything. Then I look down at that. Which sucked because I still had to ride down the mountain, and kept wiping out and getting gravel and sand and dirt in the wound. Very annoying.

So we went to the hospital at Mammoth Lakes and waited around for a couple hours before I could get stitched up. The Dr. was really cool and had a lot of fun with my friend's daughter, who wants to be a doctor.

I wasn't supposed to walk on it at all, but did a couple little easy mile long walks at Mono lake and the bristlecone pine forest. So far this thing has never really hurt that bad. It's not as deep as it looks, it just sort of grabbed the skin and separated I think. So I guess it's in that fatty layer where you don't have a lot of serious nerve endings. Sucks for my fitness plan though.

I don't know, something sharp obv. I really should have checked the bike just to figure out what did that to me. I do now have a very clear understanding of why mountain bikers wear all that extra crapola.

Yeah, seeing that didn't really help for my plan of buying a mountain bike for the first time in about 6 years.
