I used to carry one around when I was like 15. I thought it would be great to be able to give ladies a light. But only the fluid would evaporate from the lighter completely unused and my pants would smell...

Oh man. Villain standard 17/11/2, 170 hands.

I find it hard to put him on AQ, AK or JJ here. Strangely, QQ seems unlikely too given his huge turn bet size. AA is all I can come up with. Meh, I guess AQ isn't impossible. Bah.

Any thoughts? Fire turn again? Does he insta-put me on AK when I chk? Clueless here.

Hero has a bit more than $50 behind, villain covers, so this is a decision for a full BI.

I don't get your turn check, tbh. This board is so draw heavy that you have little FE on the flop and you should be more inclined to get it in than on a dry flop. Given the stats and your assumptions, the T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hasn't changed much. So why would you think that villain checks behind?

Hi all - been very busy the past week - but now its back to poker - though intend to try to split my time 50/50 with learning/playing - btw - am going to go for the everest 5 free 2p2 books promo - would be interested to know if anyone has done it and if it is as easy as it makes it out to be - and also is it worth trying to clear the $100 bonus as well, or do I just put $10 in - get the books and scarper...?

Thanks

preflop tendencies on stars nl50 player "soldatti" plz.

[/ QUOTE ]

Soldati is the ubernit. Basically you can lump him into the same category as piscogay. If one of those 2 raises and I don't have at least kings, it's time to dip. They will not play with you postflop unless they hit a set, or flop a flush or some [censored] like that. There's almost no money to be made from either one, other than stealing their blinds 24/7, because they'll fold most of them. Soldati protects his blinds a bit more than piscogay - he'll 3bet ya every once in a while. But yeah, nit.
