I've been looking for written material on aggressive turn play like forever.

I've got pot control pretty much down and I'm having great success with inducing bluffs from weaker hands/air at NL50.

At the same time I have yet to make my first successful float play (I always pick the wrong spots and then I'm scared to try again for another 5k hands). I also never raise turn unless I have the nuts (and then it's probably often wrong to do so).

I feel I need to get better at turn aggression for when I make the move to ssnl.

Maybe this is too low-level or obvious, but I'd love to hear more about note-taking, identifying villians weaknesses efficiently, and what tweaks you should make to best exploit them. I know how to do all these things, but am always looking to streamline and enhance this process as I 8-table.

trigger it all depends on what kind of game you construct ... If you run a snaredrum tight aggro rocksolid game like I did last month, you will actually not need to float ... only to adjust your 2nd barrel frequency.

If you run a looser game, then well ... actually there is not much theoretical about playing all the FPS style stuff, it just takes good reading

I would like to see an article how you really feel happy when someone hits a 2 outers vs you for the 4th time in row. I know I should be, but I aint [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Gonna try 100NL 6 max again tonight, and Im gonna move up faster than before. Every time I win 10BI at a level, I move up, since I think im capable of beating 400NL already, and If Im not, Ill move back down. Maybe I should go to SSNL forum more often..

Moving up like that isn't bad if you're willing to drop back down if you run/play bad. Remember that bankroll increases a lot faster then skill tho

Ive played up to 200NL and beat most levels, played most of my hands at 50NL and beat it for 10BB+ for around 20k hands (including -8 buy ins of tilt). Just ran bad every time I enter 100NL, and moved down every time. If it wont work Ill grind another 20k at 50NL, no probs.
