I would say there's pretty much no chance of a Igawa for Meredith straight up swap happening without any kind of money exchange.

won't alot of igawas homers that he gives up turn into doubles or outs in PETCO??? having a great k/9 doens't make you a great pitcher...but it means you have the potential to become one
