Re: *** Official October Chat Thread: The Purple Goose ***
SN is magicmike. I am primarily an omaha player, and will play omaha/8 over NL holdem if I have a choice. However, in non-peak hours, I fill in some tables of NL holdem. I have had a 200k hand stretch of barely profitable 1/2 holdem, and I have the bankroll to try the 2/4, 3/6, and 5/10 tables, and see how I do there. I know my NL holdem game needs some work, but maybe the higher levels will keep me into it; I sometimes lose focus at the smaller levels.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Is it just me, or does 2/4 NL seem easier to beat than 1/2? That is, of course, assuming I'm not at a table with Renton or GrandMelon [/ QUOTE ] easier, imo [/ QUOTE ] its close to twice as hard as 1/2, if not harder [/ QUOTE ] table selection, table selection, table selection |

Re: *** Official October Chat Thread: The Purple Goose ***
I don't actually think 2/4 is easier, and I don't see where the argument is even coming from but if someone can give any reasons as to why it might be then I'll be listening
