It seems to me like there are more maniacs lately, which has resulted in more swings for me as well. I could just be running into all of them though.

funny thing...because I'm a cheap bastard, I'd been dual-monitoring with two 19" CRTS (Samsung 955df and Samsung 904idt).

Both have been very, very good for me.

Well, I've been running decent at poker and crushing MLB betting (thanks crockpot), so I decided to get a new monitor as an early birthday present to myself.

I got the Samsung Syncmaster 204BW---it's a 20" widescreen flat panel with native resoultion at 1680X1050. I got it for $209 incl shipping and after rebates through amazon.

It is fantastic. I don't know why I was so cheap for so long.
My life is at least 1.5X as good as it was.
I love it. I highly suggest the monitor to anyone in that market.

FYI-I'm still using the Samsung Syncmaster 955df CRT as my second monitor. It's a really good monitor, but I'm heavily debating things now.
