Re: ** WSOP ME, FT Sweat, Tuesday, July 17 **
Pollock is exactly right that Hachem has still been carrying the mantle of Champion. Poor Gold. Kinda. At least he did one good thing. I've been eating blueberries regularly for about a year now.

I would play so slow against Yang with a strong hand right here. Guy NEVER turns down a chance to bet.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I seriously thought Alex's max pay-out was 283k a few days ago, unbelievable to still be sweating him now. [/ QUOTE ] Do you know this Alex guy? Should i be rooting for him? [/ QUOTE ] I don't know him personally, but he's a solid player and is owning with the shortstack. I expected him to bust somewhere in the 30's/late 20's but he's been playing sick to guarantee himself ~2mil+. He also won a bracelet in the Omaha Hi-Lo event this series, HU against 2+2's Bryan Devonshire. [/ QUOTE ] Cool. I'll root for him. Good to see him limp in a pot against this big stack and just outplay him on the flop. Looked the other way around though |

[ QUOTE ] This is basically like watching the WPT with Phil Gordon and his minion replacing Mike Sexton and VVP. No post-flop play. Bloody hell. It's a slight improvement, but not $20-worth. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. Glad I didnt end up ordering it. Guess Ill just have to wait until it airs........... [/ QUOTE ] naw, the first two hours were worth at least $20. |

I also wouldn't open raise a weak hand as a shortstack with Yang on my immediate left.
