[ QUOTE ] There's no point in challenging yourself without the confidence. You'll fail. That simple. [/ QUOTE ] I had no real problems adjusting to the bigger levels, only the more aggression was something i had to get used to. And i played like 60k hands at 25NL. I felt pretty confident. [/ QUOTE ] Well, than you played about 2-3x as many hands on 25NL as I did and I can understand your desire to move up. The key factor for me wasn't moving up as fast as possible, since your bankroll never measures your skill and no bankroll in the world can protect you from going busto if you don't know how to play the game well. So when you realize that you have leaks that you can fix on a lower, less expensive level, why would you want to do it on a higher, more expensive one, when you are pretty much bound to lose some more in the beginning? |

Re: Official JUNE uNL **\'`MICROBREW THREAD`\'** LC/NC this way...
played a little, no my A game though. was down like maybe 60BB's or something and was getting very bored and disinterested. decided to quit, but not before this beauty.
i was almost a bit tilty cause i just kept getting outdrawn everytime i had a hand. hit my set, turns a flush. my TPTK, turns two pair. all in on the flop? villian rivers his 2 for two pair. i said that is enough and decided not to give credit this round. Re: Official JUNE uNL **\'`MICROBREW THREAD`\'** LC/NC this way...
How does one go about learning how to play heads-up well? I did really well with it tonight but the idea of having to stack off with mid-pair is more than scary. Any links/info on developing HU skill?

Any links/info on developing HU skill? [/ QUOTE ] There's a forum for it. I've dabbled in some 100 NL HU and the games are quite soft. I'd suggest you hire a coach though, there are some good ones on the HU forum. |

Re: Official JUNE uNL **\'`MICROBREW THREAD`\'** LC/NC this way...
this play is never correct. are u simply missing the fact that i dont B/F here ever? If i check to u, u win. When I bet, you lose. So this play is bad.
